This is a tincture of wild-grown hawthorn berries, or haws. Harvested from un-spoiled land in the NY Finger Lakes. Tinctured in 80 proof alcohol for a minimum 60 days. Extraction ratio 1:3. This is a one-ounce or two-ounce amber glass bottle with dropper.
Hawthorn grows natively as a small tree in my temperate local and is widely planted as an ornamental and street tree. There are cultivars which have far fewer, and less dangerous thorns than the native varieties. In some locations it is known as thornapple.
