Wild organic and USDA organic natural products for health and beauty. I grew up with the Foxfire books and Euell Gibbons. A lifelong forager and now a follower of Samuel Thayer I decided a few years ago to investigate the medicinal properties of what was growing around me. In 2023 I completed the Cornell University College of Agriculture & Life Sciences course in Medicinal Plants. My products are harvested from herbicide and pesticide-free land in the Finger Lakes Region and wilderness areas in the Adirondack Mountains. The climate in the Finger Lakes is humid continental with the lakes creating a microclimate that supports a wide variety of plant life. The clean air and boreal climate in the mountains are wonderful for all types of fungi and lichens as well as the yellow birch trees they favor.
