Organic Horsetail - Slippery Elm Salve

It is antimicrobial and can accelerate the healing of small burns and wounds. Horsetail is good for skin, hair, and nails and can fight nail psoriasis. It is antimicrobial and antifungal and can help hasten the healing of small wounds and irritations. 

Slippery Elm, Ulmus fulva, has long been used by Native Americans in healing salves for wounds, boils, ulcers, burns, and skin inflammation. It is anti-inflammatory and astringent. There is some evidence it can help manage psoriasis. It contains mucilage, which is a soothing substance that help store moisture and nutrients. 

Sunflower oil is non-comedogenic and contains the beneficial nutrients oleic acid, vitamin E, sesamol, and linoleic acid, which is anti-inflammatory and beneficial for eczema. 

Vitamin E is a strong antioxidant and anti-inflammatory. It has photoprotective qualities that are very beneficial for skin that is exposed to the elements. 

Beeswax is an excellent moisturizer and protectant that helps balance the natural flora of the skin.
